Ambattur Industrial Estate is a fast-developing residential neighborhood in north-western Chennai. Textile industries such as Ambattur Clothing Limited (ACL) and Bombay Fashions have their facilities here and employ thousands of women. Also, the abundance of highly ranked educational institutes, specialized hospitals and recent influx of IT offices have all catapulted this locale into a strategic location for business activities.
