Alayam Constructions is a proprietary concern. Mr.A.P.B.Varadarajalua who is the proprietor of Alayam Constructions started his career in construction field as a labour contractor in the year 1980. Initially he started doing a few projects for M/s. P.K.Mookambalam Company as a Labour Contractor. This "exposure" for a period of over a decade (from 1980) gave him an ideal footing in the highly challenging field of building constructions. He, since then, started utilising every single opportunity to learn about the intricacies of building constructions. Hard work is an integral part of his basic qualities. He developed a taste for building construction and loved his profession with all his heart. A.P.B.Varadarajalua earned the goodwill of all the companies which gave him labour contract because of his utmost sincerity, efficiency and total involvement in all the projects he was assigned to. In the year 1991 he graduated from the level of labour contractor to be a sub contractor and got directly involved in building projects. After proving his worth as a subcontractor for six years he joined with Avanth Constructions as a partner and started taking up a variety of constructions projects. Having gained adequate experience as a labour contractor, sub contractor and as a partner of a well established construction company, Varadarajalua now wanted to float his own company. Thus was born Alayam constructions in the year 2001. Since the start of the company in 2001 Alayam constructions has been achieving success after success in all the projects handled by it and has emerged as one of the famous and prestigious construction companies of Tamilnadu. Having realised the importance of possessing its own construction machinery for the speedy completion of the projects, the company bought several machinery for its own use. Possession of own machinery ensured speedy completion of the projects without compromising on the quality of the projects. The journey for Alayam Constructions, in the construction field keeps going, adding pride to itself and the field in which it exists.
