Mumbai (Bombay), India, has a historic neighborhood called Kalbadevi. It has the name of the Hindu goddess Kalbadevi. One of the busiest regions during rush hour is the Kalbadevi district. Traders of watches, bicycles, steel kitchenware, and other items predominate in the neighborhood. The long-standing Swadeshi Market and a tangle of roadside stores selling secondhand books, typewriters, and china are located in bustling Kalbadevi. CST, Masjid Bunder, and Marine Lines are all accessible by foot from Kalbadevi. These three railway stations are the only ways for the buyers, sellers, and tourists that reside on the outskirts to get to Kalbadevi. Hanuman Galli, which begins at Kalbadevi Road, provides access to the two cloth wholesale marketplaces, Mulji Jetha Market and Mangaldas Market, which are the primary cloth markets in South Mumbai. The Kalbadevi market's Zaveri Bazaar is regarded as India's most valuable and historical gold market. The Cotton Exchange, the marketplace for the trade of cotton, is located at the farther end of Kalbadevi, close to Bhuleshwar Road. In this region, there is a well-known chain of hotels or lodging facilities. Many Parsis reside close to Metro Cinema in Kalbadevi since it is near a Parsi fire temple. Read More
