Yesteryear stars and one of the most loved celebrity couples, late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, are known for their style and family bonding. Their son, Ranbir Kapoor is a successful Bollywood actor, who is married to actor Alia Bhatt. The star couple reside with their daughter Raha in their ‘Vastu’ apartment in Pali Hill, Bandra.

In 2020, Rishi Kapoor, popularly remembered as Bollywood’s ‘Chintu’, succumbed to a two-year battle with cancer.  Their house called Krishnaraj, named after Kapoor’s parents Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor, is in Pali Hill, Mumbai.

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Neetu Kapoor have been regularly visiting their property, which is nearing completion. According to a report by Bollywood Life, the star couple plans to register the Rs 250 crore property in their daughter Raha Kapoor’s name, which will make her the youngest and richest baby in Bollywood. Ranbir Kapoor will name the bungalow in his daughter Raha Kapoor’s name. Neetu Kapoor will be the co-owner of the bungalow as her husband, late actor Rishi Kapoor, had made her ‘the half-owner of all his properties’, as per reports.

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor were seen at the site of their house construction.

Neetu Kapoor buys 4-BHK apartment in Bandra-Kurla Complex for Rs 17.4 cr

Neetu Kapoor has purchased a 4-BHK apartment in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) Mumbai for Rs 17.4 crore, report documents accessed by Indextap.com. The apartment is located on the seventh floor of the Sunteck Signia Isles. It has a built-up area of 3,387 sqft. The property comes with three parking spaces. This investment of Neetu Kapoor is a resale purchase. The property transaction was registered between Neetu Kapoor and the seller Kewal Krishan Nohria on May 10, 2023. The actress paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.04 crore.

Krishna Raj bungalow: History

The property holds special significance for the Kapoor family. Named after Rishi Kapoor’s parents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor, the bungalow was built by them around 76 years ago. The Krishna Raj bungalow was inherited by Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in 1980. It has been the venue of many weddings and big events for the Kapoor family, including Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s wedding.

In 2016, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor started their plans for the reconstruction of their bungalow. However, the approvals for this took a few years.

Krishna Raj bungalow: Construction

The bungalow has been under renovation and reconstruction for the last three years. The bungalow has been turned into an eight-storey building.

One storey is Neetu Kapoor’s personal residence and the other floor is for Ranbir, Alia, and their baby. According to media reports, one floor will be for the baby whenever she is ready for her own space. The fourth storey of the bungalow is for Ranbir kapoor’s sister, Riddhima and her daughter whenever they are in town.

Other floors of the Krishna Raj bungalow will have space for recreation, including a swimming pool and an office floor where Alia, Ranbir and Neetu will listen to script narrations. There is also a dedicated space inside the bungalow for the late actor Rishi Kapoor. All the favourite things of the actor, including his chair and bookshelf, will be placed in the special room.

As per reports, the star couple has spent a lot of time designing their new home.

Krishna Raj bungalow: Neetu and Rishi Kapoor house décor
