Tambaram is very close to the IT zone of Chennai and the affordable range of property cost makes this an attractive option for working class individuals and families. There are some civic issues here which escalate during the monsoons. Apart from this, the connectivity is also very good provided by MTC buses, cabs and autos.

Public transport is very good here connecting other parts of Chennai. Roads and parks are well-maintained. There are some good schools in the neighbourhood and local markets are also very close. Tambaram is also safe at night with regular police patrolling throughout the day.

The affordable cost of real estate and proximity to IT hubs attracts people here, but there are red flags when it comes to basic civic issues like lack of regular drinking water, waterlogging during rainy seasons and improper garbage disposal by local authorities.

Tambaram has affordable property suitable for middle income groups. The area is well connected via buses, autos and cabs and the railway station is just 5 km. away. The only problems are no garbage disposal and water logging during monsoons.

Tambaram is located close to the Trichy-Chennai highway and is a decent place to reside in. I lived there for 2 years working in the IT Park nearby. Regular MTC Cabs were available from the region and property prices were also on the affordable side.

My MEPZ Park workplace is within easy distance and I can reach office swiftly and before time also. The project or housing society is also nice and roads are well maintained. There are some issues sometimes with maintenance but overall experience is really great.

Tambaram has always been a point of interest for home buyers in Chennai. Nice and peaceful locality with good rates for housing. Everyone should check it out, especially those looking for worry-free lifestyle near major offices.

Easy access through major highway running through the area. Also MEPZ IT Park is a few kilometres away. So nice area overall and with good basic facilities also. I will appreciate how much it has developed over the last few years.

This is the best place for IT professionals looking to commute to various IT and ITeS hubs in city. The rates are reasonable for rentals also. I found property pricing to be affordable also.
