Near to Railway Station. Wide highways from Mumbai. Bus services available. 10 mins from beach. Near to Dronagiri Market and Vimla Lakeread more

You get a weekend home away from the daily dilemmas. You will tend to miss the city which is okay, because thats what the place is all about.read more

It has a lot of government offices, English medium schools, good ones around. Bus stand are also very close and we can easily get auto rickshaws from here. It is very convenient place.

Uran is actually a very old locality so roads are quite narrow and have withered. They need regular maintaining which they don't get enough. Otherwise closeness to sea and the location itself is very nice.

Flats are accessible at a reasonable price in Uran, and there are numerous medical services. There are several fantastic restaurants in Uran, so you will have plenty of alternatives. Uran is also less polluted. But, the connectivity is really poor here and not all delivery services deliver food or groceries here.

Uran is well-known for its beaches and, of course, its seafood. Here, crime is basically non-existent. Schools are nearby, so it's a nice location overall. There is a transport issue in Uran. There are also occasional power outages here. There is no ola/uber service in Uran.

Uran is a town in Navi Mumbai and lies in the district of Maharashtra. Previously it was called Uruvan and the place is well known for fishing and agriculture. The total population of Uran is 133,232 with the coordinates of 18.8772°N and 72.9283°E. The total area of Uran is 1,100 sq. mi. Uran is said to be windy and muggy during the dry season and is mostly clear and hot throughout the year. The languages spoken here in Uran are Agri and Koli which is a local dialect.

Uran is served by the Uran Municipal Council. The well-known places in Uran are Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Shree Mahalakshmi Temple, Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir, Agra Fort, Girgaum Chowpatty and Sinhagad Fort. If you want to reach Uran, you can take a train from Dadar station but the fastest way to reach Uran is by car.
