The Pherzawl district is located near the southern side of Manipur. On its east is the Churachandpur district, Chachar District on the west, and bounded by the Noney, Tamenglong, and Jiribam District to the north. With coordinates of 24°15′N 93°11′E, it enjoys a rather humid subtropical climate. This district has about 200 villages in it. The most common languages spoken in this district include Manipuri and Hindi.
