Transportation is good, with easy access to auto, Ola, and Uber. The flats are well-ventilated with no seepage, and construction quality is good. Society maintenance is excellent, and elevators work well. Amenities include a gym, clubhouse, park, and tennis court, serving 230 houses. People are cooperative, and security with CCTV services is available. The common area has a generator for power cuts. Overall, it's a well-maintained and friendly community. Traffic can be an issue during peak hours. There's no swimming pool. The common areas were last painted 5 to 6 years ago and could use a refresh. Power cuts from the government happen, although they are beyond control, and only common areas have generator support. The lack of a swimming pool is a downside. Maintenance of the society is very good. The water facilities are excellent, and there is a reliable power backup. Garbage collection is also very good; they collect wet and dry waste separately. People are very friendly. Connectivity is available but needs to be booked in advance. The society has a reasonable maintenance fee. Shops are available within a short distance. Amenities include a gym, parks, and volleyball courts. There is ample greenery around the society, making it a pleasant place to walk.read more

Good things here

The society has all the amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, clubhouse, garden, and parks. The neighbors are also good and helpful when needed. The cleanliness is well-maintained and it doesn't get too dirty.read more

The construction quality of the building is not good. There are leaks and seepage everywhere. Street dogs cause trouble at night. The lighting in the society is also poor. Auto rickshaws and buses are not readily available, and cabs are 5 km away.read more

Good things here

Connectivity, like cabs and autos, is easily available in the society if we book Ola and Uber. Roads are near to the society, making access convenient for everything in the society. I vacated the society 4 years ago; power backup is available in the society for common areas. The association is very good in the society. Amenities like a well-equipped gym and spacious clubhouse are available in the society. There is also a spacious function hall inside the society that can accommodate 100 people for any function. Maintenance charges are very reasonable in the society.read more

Water facility is not good in the society because water comes mainly through tankers, especially in summer, which is inconvenient. There is no swimming pool in the society. There are no schools nearby, which is inconvenient. The metro is under construction approximately 3 km away from the society.read more

Perumbakkam is a suburb in the Chengalpattu District of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is the home of several IT companies and is surrounded by residential developments; however, the locality enjoys nature's scenic beauty. The estimated area of the locality is 5.88 sq. km and has a population of 21,157. Perumbakkam has a tropical wet and dry climate with not much variation in seasonal temperature.
