Upper Subansiri is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. The district headquarter is located at Daporijo. The district was formed when Subansiri was bifurcated into Upper and Lower Subansiri district in 1987. This district occupies the area of 7,032 sq km with the coordinates of 28°18'N 94°00' E. The climate of this place is varied as rainfall and temperature differs from place to place. The population of this place is 83,448 out of which 41,758 are males and 41,690 are females. People here mainly speak in Tagin, Gallong, Nyishi, Bhojpuri and Nepali.
