Society remains clean. People like to walk along the streets as the area has wonderful scenery as it is connected to the mountain. The grocery shops are located within walking distance. Pollution is an issue in the area. Water shortage during the summer season is of major concern. Paltanbazar Railway Station is just 7 km from here.

Uttarayan Ville in Kahilipara, Guwahati is the ready-to-move housing society. The area is very quiet and calm. All the prestigious schools and colleges are located near the housing society. The transportation system is well developed-cabs, buses, trackers, etc. are easily available. However, not all the roads are maintained properly.
