Chanakyapuri is located New Delhi district, Delhi state. A neighbourhood and diplomatic enclave in New Delhi, Chanakyapuri was founded in the 1950s. Chanakyapuri was New Delhi’s first significant expansion outside of Lutyens’ Delhi. In the 1950s, this diplomatic enclave was built on a huge area of land that the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) had purchased from a Gurjar town that had been there. Additionally, it is a part of the New Delhi district and is where the majority of the foreign embassies in New Delhi are located. Chanakyapuri is a diplomatic neighbourhood built around expansive Nehru Park, a manicured area with ponds, a statue of Lenin, and regular Indian music concerts. The Western and South Western boundaries are defined by Sardar Patel Marg and Chanakya Cinema Complex, respectively, which is located beyond Nehru Park. Chanakyapuri is where the Delhi Ring Railway terminates. Jesus and Mary College and Maitreyi College are two colleges that located in Chanakyapuri, is a part of the Delhi University, also International university South Asian University was founded by SAARC. The area of the locality is 6.085 km2 (2.349 sq mi).

one of the best and prime location of delhi. all the embassies are in chanakya puri, very posh and safe location in delhi. mostle forigners and diplomates live here. cream location of delhi.
