Ghose Bagan is a north-central neighborhood of Kolkata that comprises of several commercial hubs and upcoming residential projects. Being situated in a busy junction that witnesses a lot of activity, Ghose Bagan has an access to almost all roads that lead out to connect it with important locations of Kolkata. Major nodes here are the EM Bypass and VIP Road that gives connection to main highways and thus access to across cities. A network of smaller roads here are the CIT Road, Bagmari Road and Maniktala Main Road, apart from few others. A long network of railways runs right besides Ghose Bagan, giving a complete hassle free train ride experience to the inhabitants. Some of the stations that can be reached easily from this place are Bidhannagar Railway Station within the area that further connects with stations of Howrah and Sealdah. Along with, the Bengal Chemical and Saltlake Stadium Metro Stations also lie at a close proximity from this area. Also, the Ultadanga Tram Depot lies minutes away from here, thereby facilitating another means of easy commute.
