Located in the Mahbubnagar district of the Indian state of Telangana, Jadcherla is an important census center. It can be found in the Mahbubnagar revenue division, specifically the Jadcherla Mandal. Along with ten other villages, it was elevated to the status of census town in 2011. The town's rich history and culture have earned it a reputation as a must-see destination. Only recently has Jadcherla been elevated to the status of a municipality. Some of the ancient temples still stand here. Included among the Hindu places of worship are the 12th-century Chennakeshava temple, the 11th-century Anjaneya temple, the 10-century Maisamma temple, the 9th-century Parushaveri temple, and the seventh-century Ranganayaka temple. The Jain temple is also known by its alternative name, Gollatha Gudi. Nachiketa Tapovanam, Sitammajalu waterfall, Mayuri nursery, etc., are a few of the town's other famous monuments.
