Wakad is surrounded by Maval Taluka, Talegaon Dabhade Taluka, Chinchwad, and Velhe. Marathi is the local language in this locality, people also speak and understand English and Hindi as well here. Wakad is a junction for all the people traveling to Mumbai as many of the buses and taxi services originate from here. The locality has many good hotels and lodges along with many fast food chains as well. Wakad doesn’t face any load-shedding issues and if there is some maintenance activity planned prior notice is given to all the residents for the same. There are no water logging issues in this area as the drainage facilities are quite good. The famous DY Patil Cricket Stadium is situated very nearby to the locality and the Symbiosis College of Management is 10 mins away from the locality.
