The Kinnaur Kailash peak is located within the district. Kinnaur is roughly 235 km away from Shimla and lies in the north-eastern part of the State, with Tibet on its eastern border. Kinnaur is one of the biggest tourist landmarks in the country and boasts of breathtaking natural beauty and landscapes.
