Naihati is a suburban area located in North 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India. This city is one of the oldest cities in the country and is very well known as the birthplace of Bankim Chanda Chattopadhaya, who wrote our National song- Vande Mataram. Despite it being one of the oldest cities, Naihati has grown tremendously over the past decade. The residential prices have become affordable for more and more people migrating here for work purposes. The city's population density is 10,967 per sq. km. with a total population of 217,900. Hooghly river flows towards the southern part of the city, and thus fish farming has grown over the last couple of years. Not only is the city well known for its historical heritage, but the industrial development also takes pride in the fame of the city. The city was known to identify the time based on the mill sirens around. The Jute mill industry is yet booming and vibrant. In terms of transportation and commute, Naihati has its own railway station and ferry service plying between important cities.

There are numerous sports grounds, including two stadiums and numerous training grounds. There are also high-quality gyms with ac and shower facilities. A good multiplex is also available. There is a proper bazaar where people can buy whatever they want.

It is located on the Ganga's bank, so it is very cool and the weather is also very mild. The area has a very active police station where most of the time patrolling is done. So there are no questions to be raised.

Every time there is water available. Electricity is also readily available. A shop selling fresh and healthy food. There will be no power outages. Excellent care in the hospital. Water is not safe to drink.

It has a foul odor. School is a long distance away. We have to travel a long distance to the hospital. There are no street lights available at night. There is no garbage can here.
