Bagru is a major town and municipal area within the Jaipur District and the Tehsil Sanganer in the Indian State of Rajasthan. It lies approximately 32 km away from Jaipur along the Jaipur-Ajmer Road. The area has an elevation of 341 meters with a population of 31,229 people as of 2011. The languages spoken here include Hindi and Dundhari. The municipal authority governing the town is the Nagar Palika Bagru. The coordinates are 26.809330 and 75.540527. The area is home to the well-known Jugal Darbar Temple. An annual fair is held by the Bagda community here. There is also a fort in the town which only opens for visitors at the time of the Gangaur Festival.
