Situated along the EM Bypass Road, Topsia is a residential locality in East Kolkata. It is closely surrounded by areas including Ballygunge, Tangra and Tiljala. The locality is nearly 5 km from the city centre and hosts a few multi-storey apartment projects namely Flora Fountain, Ideal Lake View, Forum Atmosphere and Zen by PS Group. Maa Flyover passes through the locality offering sound connectivity. Since EM Bypass (NH-12) and MAA Flyover passes through this location, the connectivity to other parts of the city is good. Ambedkar Bridge is located on the eastern boundary of Topsia. The bridge connects the Science City area with Panchannagram-VIP Bazar along E.M. Bypass, over a canal. The bridge was firstly inaugurated in 2002. The Rabindra Sadan Metro Station is 4 km away and the Maidan Metro Station is 7 km away from Topsia. The Sealdah Railway Station is also placed nearby around 5 km. Also, the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is 16 km (30-35 minutes) away. Topsia is a nice place to live with families and friends with all basic amenities available. This locality has good connectivity with several transport options. This place has frequent parking issues and this area needs improvement.
