Good things here
This locality has almost all facilities available. well maintained roads and weather leisurely stroll and such a welcoming experience. This place is safe at night. It is also safe for travelling anywhere. Schools, shopping malls, colleges are nearby from this area.

The locality is well maintained and I certainly loved to live here. I haven't faced pollution any time here. There is no history of crime in my neighbourhood. I certainly feel safe to live in this locality with my family and children. The cabs are easily available and the quality of roads are even better

Good things here
No water shortage is faced here. I am living here from 20 years and I haven't faced any of the issue of transportation and cab facility till now. The locality markets are easily accessible and there are great hospitals and malls in this locality.

the transportations and cab availability is very good and affordable.yes i can easily accessible local market and market about 1.5km.this location all services are well maintained and all the time roads and footpath are clean and face any pollution issue.the electricity charges are decent and affordable to middle class family and no find frequently power cutting in this place.the condition of streetlights and quality is perfect and installed at all and they will Lit for walking post 9pm

Its a city within a city with all the social amenities that one can look for - 2 awesome malls, great schools, good public transporation connectivity with train station and bus terminus, mostly residential pockets with independent homes, scattered with newer apartments. Its become a great shopping destination with Velachery Bye Pass Road and Velachery Taramani Roads peppers with a plethora of shopping options along with a great choice of restaurants. Schools like DAV, Sunshine, Brittos, Gurunanak etc have made it a place where young families can look at settling and nurturing their families. With two new flyovers being constructed, the traffic issues have also eased a bit.
Things need improvement
It is getting increasingly crowded, with more and more people coming and settling down in the place. The traffic can get to you sometimes during peak morning hours.

The area is very safe. The main problems in this locality are waterlogging after heavy rains, pollution due to dumping of untreated sweage in the Velachery lake and water scarcity. Otherwise, the area is livable and thnrighbourhood is very good.

Connectivity to all parts of Chennai and highways are very good. The area has facilities for good schooling, medical treatment as well as shopping and there are bigger malls in the area. The area has greenery and open spaces. Livability is good and the prices are ok.

Excellent livability but the major problems are encroachment and dumping of untreated sewage in Velachery lake. Property prices are high and attractiveness is not so good. The neighbourhood is very good and the area is very safe even at night.

Connectivity is very good, public transport is adequate and rail connectivity is also good. There are god schools and shopping centres in the vicinity. IT hubs nearby are increasing demand for housing. The area is very liveable though there is water scarcity.

Good connectivity, lots of greenery which is healthy, there is water logging after heavy rains. Metro and bus connectivity are good. Airport is close by. Major train stations are further away. Locality and neighbourhood are good. Property prices are on the expensive side.

the streets area well lit and have cctv surveilance in many areas . women and children are relatively safe,it is easy to go out at nights in my locality and the police station is also not far .thereis ample parking space available and police patrolling is also regular.
