Maruthamalai or widely pronounced as Marudhamalai is a small residential colony situated in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, India. The city is beautifully located along the Western Ghats. Maruthamali is most popularly known for its religious importance, and a flock of devotees visits the city in large numbers every year to visit the world-famous- Maruthamali Marudhachalamurthy Temple. Located on top of the Ghats, this well-known temple is around 1200 years old and is considered the seventh abode of Lord Murugan. Other temples around this famous temple are Pambatti Siddhar Cave Temple, Vellingiri Hill Temple, and Sri Naga Sai Temple. Apart from the religious significance, the city also houses prominent educational institutions like The Government Law college of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Agree University, and the campus Bharathiar University. The city also has great connectivity in terms of road, rail and airways. The nearest railway station is the Coimbatore Railway station which is located about 16 km away, and Coimbatore International Airport is the nearest airport, located about 25 km away. There are various bus stations and terminals servicing intercity and intracity buses at regular intervals.

Hello, I've been living in Manivakkam for almost three years. The lake, mountain, and expansive farm fields that surround my neighbourhood usually provide a calming experience. Additionally, transportation is quite easy in every way; for example, the perungulathur bus stop is close by, and ola and uber accurately pinpoint our location for private cab rides. Everything you need for basic household necessities is conveniently available on Mudichur Road. Hospitals and medical facilities are also helpful in simple emergencies.
