Sarojini Nagar is a neighborhood situated in South West Delhi. Prior to this name, it was also known as Vinay Nagar, Beena Nagar, and even Lakhsmi Nagar. The neighborhood is named after the famous freedom fighter Sarojini Naidu. Sarojini Nagar was also a hotbed of BJP, RSS, and VHP activities. It is in the vicinity of Chanakyapuri, which is home to various embassies and consulates, including those of the United States and Russia. Known for its Delhi Development Authority (DDA) flats and also as a shopping paradise for many, Sarojini Nagar will soon be known for a revamped look, too. The colony will be redeveloped with a modernized residential building planned in compliance with fire safety measures, green norms, and employing maximum land resources. This is one place to buy clothes and fabrics. Besides the large showrooms, majorly this area is occupied by street shops that sell a variety of garments. However, 90% of the shops are family owned. The market in this neighborhood remains closed on Mondays, and the operating hours are from 11 am in the mornings to 9 pm in the evenings.

Good things here

In this place great school nearby and auto and cabs are easily available, metero station nearby in Delhi market. in this place good cleaning in road and no crimes in this place.

Things need improvement

in this place pollution and crowed are very high and in this place not safely in the night for girls and very crowded and pollution on the roads and thus in this place dislike those things.
