Shopian also known as Shopian is in Kashmir. It is the administrative division of the Shopian district and located in the southern part of the Kashmir Valley. Shopian is called the "Apple town of Kashmir". Shopian covers the total area of 5.44 sq km with the coordinates of 33.72°N 74.83°E.
