Ulsoor is located in the centre of the city and is easily accessible to major locations with a Kaveri water connection. Ulsoor is near to MG Road, Indiranagar, Domlur, Cambridge layout, Shivajinagar, Majestic, Hebbal, Koramangala.

The area is safe to travel during night time as police patrol the area very frequently. The streets are well lit in the locality premises. There are some security guards in the area as well and the crime rates have gone down over the years.

The roads are well mainatined and there is adequate street lights . There is adequate police patrolling especially during the night and the residents feel quite safe. The locality also offers a good night life as there are multiple popular restaurants that see a lot of visitors in the evening.

Ulsoor is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in the city of Bangalore. It is located in central Bangalore, and begins roughly near the eastern terminus of MG Road.
