It lies at the Panvel and Sion Highway junction where it is intersected by the Panvel Bypass, National Highway 48 and the National Highway 66 along with the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Kalamboli is known for housing the Navi Mumbai Police Headquarters along with the CIDCO Sewage Water Treatment Plant. It is also home to the biggest marble market in the region.
