Nagaur is a leading city cum municipal council within the District of Nagaur in Rajasthan. It is the administrative headquarters for the district as well. Nagaur is known for its sweets and spices alike, while having a Kuldevi Temple as well. The city lies at an elevation of 302 meters while the population was estimated at 110,797 people as of the year 2011. The main languages spoken here include Rajasthani, Hindi, and Marwari. The Jodhpur Mandal railway station is located near the city while the Jodhpur Airport is also well connected to Nagaur.
