Nelamangala is a developing residential locality placed at the intersection of two national highways, NH-48 (Bangalore-Mangalore) and NH-4 (Mumbai-Chennai Highway), in the rural district of Bangalore. Most of the projects in Nelamangala are in the under-construction stage. The residential demand is increasing in the locality due to several affordable housing projects. The residential development is primarily in the form of plotted development in Nelamangala. Some of the prominent projects of the locality are Royale Royale Township, TATA New Haven, Godrej Elite Townhouse MSR green City, and Green Valley. Nelamangala is well connected to the other major cities of Bangalore via NH-48 (Bangalore-Mangalore) and NH-4 (Mumbai-Chennai Highway). The nearest railway station from the locality is the Nelamangala railway station (7 km) and Golhali railway station (7.4 km). The nearest metro station from the NelaMangala is Nagasandra (14 km), located on the Green Line (Nagasandra to Yelachenahalli) of Bangalore Metro. Bangalore International Airport is about 1.5 hours from the locality.

Moreover, the town is home to several temples, including the ancient Venkataramana temple, the Balamuri Ganapathi temple and the Jain temple at Jadigenahalli. It is also known for its fruits and vegetables market, which is held weekly at the Nelamangala Bus Stand.

Good things here

Good transport facility available. Lots of nearby markets hospitals and good affordable restaurants available. Good water supply facility. Safe for children and adults in the night time in the area.
