Good things here

Good place for bachelor , who are new to city Tollygunge is the place of living for so many people who r here for the work in kolkata , this place has nearby malls and cinema hall where toucan spend when its off day or on sundays . Its not too much costly too , easily 2 bhk can be available in 14-15k price with one month security deposit

Yes street light good at midnight too for walking but recommend to use online cabs for travelling to home because at night no place as much safe as it in daylight

Good things here

Quite nice and well connected. There are a lot of happening in rhe area with excellent amenities. There are a lot of schools there and cimmunication is good.

The area is dotted with multiple electronics and apparel stores and offers great connectivity through metro, buses, autos, and more. The famous Studios, movie theatres and industry landmarks are there along with educational institutions and famous restaurants like Aminia. It is crowded with vendors taking over the footpaths.

I love staying here, with the shopping mall, bank, grocery store and all being walkable. Multiple grocery stores and saloons as well. Cabs and food delivery are readily available and night safety is excellent with metro nearby and parks here. No power cuts and good schools also. Shortage of parking space is there and water quality needs improvement. Room rents are quite high.

South City Mall can be seen from your apartment, and everything else is there nearby including hospitals, groceries, banks, and also them metro station. You can go out late in the night with good street lighting and policing. You can reach every place in 15 minutes. Footpaths have been encroached by multiple street vendors.

Tollygunge offers plenty of grocery stores including one just near my apartment building. Metro station is walkable and also there is a large mall. Multiple restaurants and auto connections. Safety levels are high. Roads are clean but some garbage is found at times.
