Civil lines is known to be a very posh and affluent residential settlement in the New Delhi region in India. The pin code of the locality is 110054. The total population of the city is 64,573, of which 34,473 and 30,100 are males and females, respectively. The population density of the city is 9,701 per sq. km. Civil lines is one of the oldest colonies of New Delhi since the British Times. The city was a major hub of European-styled hotels, and one may still find some traces and old hotels paying homage to the tradition. The Civil lines area was basically developed as a residential colony for the senior level civilian officers like District Magistrate and Divisional Commissioner during the British era. These colonies were spread out throughout the northern part of the country, some of which are in Prayagraj, Jaipur, Roorkee, and Bareilly. Apart from its historical importance, the city has grown in popularity due to its excellent connectivity via rail, road, and metro. The city has its own metro station, which is an underground station on the yellow line of the Delhi metro. Good things here

all the transport facilities are available. Metro is nearby. Bus stand is also nearby. Weekly market is organized nearby. Good schools and colleges are available nearby. The roads here are well constructed and the street lights work properly at night.Parking facility is good, watchman also guards at night.There is a shopping mall nearby where we can do our favorite shopping.

The plaster of the houses has not been done properly, water leaks at many places in the houses, the park here is not maintained properly, garbage is thrown at many places on the road.There is more traffic jam here.

Due to being near the road, there is a lot of noise here.Cleanliness is not maintained on the road.Due to there being a market nearby, it is crowded in the evenings. Sometimes there is traffic jam here.

very clean and spacious living. very widespread greenery with parks and district centre. their is space for parking.their is continuous supply of electricity with lack of power cuts . wide roads and flyovers. easily accessible to shops ,market and malls.
