The administrative centre and one of the three subdivisions of Delhi NCT's South West district is Kapashera. The Old Tax Terminal building is home to the Deputy Commissioner's office. The village of Kapashera has a lengthy history dating back to the Middle Ages. NakiPur Kheda was the previous name for Kapashera. The first resident of this village was Rao Harnath Singh Yadav, who bought 840 acres of land from a man named Kapas in the 1680s. He is the ancestor of all Tondak gotra villagers. Kapashera was an agricultural community with productive soil, well-adjusted residents, and hard-working locals. Due to nearby industrialization hotspots like Gurgaon's Maruti Factory and Udhyog Vihar Industrial Area, Kapashera has experienced unprecedented growth. The area is also included in the DDA Redevelopment Zone, and it is anticipated that this decade will grow even faster. Due to industrialization, the number of migrants has increased significantly, and most locals work in the rental industry.
