New Panvel is a part of Panvel city located in the Raigad District. It is also considered to be one of the nodes of Navi Mumbai that has developed in recent years in the residential, commercial and educational sectors. The city is divided into two parts, the one on the Eastern side of Panvel-Roha central railway referred to as Panvel East and the one on the western side as Panvel West.
