Gujarat, India, 396191

Vapi is a municipality in Valsad district in the state of Gujarat, India. The total area covers 31.35 sq km with the coordinates of 20.372°N 72.917°E. The climate of this area has a tropical climate. The summers are much rainier than the winters here. The total population of Vapi is 163,630 out of which 94,105 are male and 69,525 are female. The official language of this place is Gujarati but people speak Hindi and English as well.

Some of the best places in Vapi are Jamporw Beach (12 km), Nakshatra Garden (45 km), GIDC Garden (78 km), Silvassa (98 km), Rustic Jerome Fort (12 km), Bom Jesus Church (67 km). Major roads include NH48 which passes through Vapi and Connected to all the major cities. It is the only place from which one can visit Daman and Silvassa. City Bus is also available here. The Vapi railway station on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad rail link of Western railway has become the direct beneficiary in terms of revenues due to daily commuters. The nearby airport of vapi is Surat Airport which is 84.7 km away from the city centre. Other nearby airports include Mumbai Airport which is 142.3 km away. Some of the nearby schools are Podar International School, Fellowship Mission School, Vapi Public School, Vidya Dham International School etc. The colleges include V. GIDC Rajju Shroff Institute of Management studies, Rofel Arts and Commerce College etc. The nearby hospitals are Shalby Hospital, Rainbow nearby Hospital, Haria L.G. rotary Hospital etc. Some of the well-known industries here are Welspun Terry Towels, Century textiles, GHCL and Raymonds.
