An emerging neighborhood called Santhome is located in Mylapore, Tamil Nadu. Through roads, railroads, and local buses, the area is well-connected to various locations. One of Jesus Christ's twelve apostles, Saint Thomas, is the source of the word "Santhome." Some of the best educational institutions are in Santhome. These include Dominic Savio School, Rosary Matriculation School, St. Bedes School, Santhome Higher Secondary School, and St. Raphaels School. Santhome, a neighborhood near the Basilica, serves as the archbishop's official residence for the Madras-Mylapore Archdiocese. Additionally in this region are the consulates of Spain and Russia. The Santhome High Road extends from Marina Beach's iconic lighthouse side into Adyar, passing in front of St. Thomas Basilica. The surrounding landscape is lovely. Santhome is a short distance from the Light House, Chepauk, and Chennai Central railway stations. Santhome highway road and Foreshore Estate promenade are in the city for transit. Additionally, the region is graced with a few temples and churches.
