Shahdara is a one of the oldest and the most popular regions in Delhi east which was formed in 2012. The meaning of the name in urdu is "door of kings". It is an administrative and revenue district of Delhi, India, situated near the banks of Yamuna river. It's headquater is in Nand Nagari. it also has eight union councils in which the biggest is Rohtash Nagar It is also one of the popular residential areas of North East New Delhi. Most of the residential development of this area is in the form of Individual Houses, Builder Floor Apartments, Residents Welfare Association, and New Delhi Development Authority (DDA) flats. There are many reputed schools,hospitals, roads, shops, banks, ATMs, gyms and malls in and near this locality. This is an excellent locality to live in as there are many well to do colonies in this area. It also has great connectivity and you have an easy access to metros, buses and the other transportations.It is a developed locality which is safe and convinient to live in. It also has neat and clean roads. This place has everything one requires to live a happy and healthy life.

Good things here

This locality is good for living with family members because here all the facilities are available nearby that requires for a human being for their day to day life need. I don't face any issue regarding power cuts, safety, waters shortage and other amenities.

Good things here

This is a good place you will find in new delhi. well connected to each mainsteam roads, clean air, healthy environment, good neighborhood, safety. Also you will find that prices are less, affordable and less as compared to rest delhi. In my opinion you should must visit there and watch the place by yourself
