Kashmere Gate or otherwise known as Kashmiri Gate, is situated in Old Delhi. The gate was named as it stood at the beginning of a road that routed to Kashmir and was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan. Kashmere Gate is one of Shahjahanabad's original gates. This gate had been utilized by the British to bar the rebels from accessing the city. The Delhi Junction railway station, Red Fort, and Kashmere Gate ISBT are close by. It is now also the name of the neighborhood in North Delhi and a significant traffic junction. Kashmere Gate is also home to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and one of the nation's oldest General Post Offices. A library built by the Mughal prince Dara Shikoh is located on the premises of a university close to Kashmere Gate. Good things here

Kashmere gate are very clean and safe place where you can reach easily many shops and malls also there is nearby metro stations and bus stands. Education instituitions are also here who give great quality of education and locality are very nice such as there are no power cuts and supply of water are also nice.

Kashmere gate are bust area with lots of automobiles so there is pollution problem and traffic also takes place on roads . Prices of goods and services are slightly high as compared to local markets otherwise all things are good.

a very clean and green locality with the Katraj Park adding a special factor. the connectivity is excellent and public buses area available very frequently and at every corner. it is a daily commuter's haven.

interstate buses and cabs are all available. and daily commuters have no problem . there is traffic in peak hours. there are banks and ATMs are all close by . hospitals, schools and colleges are near at hand.

the primary advantage of living here is the excellent connectivity . public buses , autos, private taxis are all available round the clock. the metro station is at a distance of 500 metres which makes commuting easily accessible.
