Towards the south of Chennai, India, in a stretch of Old Mahabalipuram Road, you will find the suburb of Navalur. It is only 5 kilometres from the Sholinganalur junction. This place used to be a sleepy little town (sometime around 2010), but because of the proliferation of IT firms and the quick growth of the Old Mahabalipuram Road (New Mount road of Chennai), it is now one of the busiest and most sought-after neighbourhoods in Chennai. More people keep moving to this suburb because of its convenient location relative to a variety of amenities, including beaches at ECR and other entertainment centres, as well as its accessibility to work prospects, strong asset appreciation, and outstanding road infrastructure. Chennai International Airport is 25 kilometres distant, while the Velachery Railway Station is 18 kilometres away. Connectivity would also be improved by the proposed Metro Corridor 3 (Madhavaram-SIPCOT) under Phase 2 of the Chennai Metro. Navalur notably comes under the control of the Chengalpattu district. As the OMR gathered pace with IT companies popping at all corners, there has been equivalent development in Navalur, including its economy and infrastructure.

Good things here

The plot is situated very close to main road. You will find cabs and commute is very easy. There are multiple gated communities and gated plots around. Upcoming metro station is within 1 KM distance.

Things need improvement

I don't think there are any disadvantages in buying this plot. It's a very good locality for either investment and also residential purpose.

Lovely place, safe, close to IT companies & Educational Institutions, plenty of Hotels, Restaurants, department stores closeby, wide roads, ample parking,

nothing to complain, main road to apartment complex around 10 minutes to walk, a vehicle is preferred

school and hospital is very near city in near hospital is opposite side vegetables and fruits and food grocery store are very near

Things need improvement

We are very disappointed because street dogs barking at night and some time bite kids very fear going on outside
