Its proximity to more populous commercial hubs like Abids, Koti, Nampally, and Himayat Nagar has contributed to the neighbourhood's ascent in prominence. Here there stood the illustrious Bashir Bagh Palace. Hussain Sagar Lake is also nearby. Basheerbagh has TSRTC connections to all of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Here, private automobiles and taxis serve as the main modes of public transportation. Nampally, one kilometre from Basheerbagh, you will find the closest train station serving the Hyderabad Multi-Modal Transport System. Many jewellery stores may be found in this area, as can a respectable assortment of shopping centres.
