Kalan West is one of the oldest port cities of India located in very close proximity to the city of Mumbai. The area is of great historic importance. It was a part of the Ahmednagar sultanate and the Bijapur sultanate. It was attacked an occupied by several conquerors including the Mughals and the British. It was added to the Mughal Empire by Shah Jahan and was later conceded to the British and became a part of the Bombay Presidency. Nearby Kalyan West localities include Bhiwandi, Ulhasnagar, Ambarnath, Vithalwadi etc.

    the presence of cameras and place near it have a very good facility of security which other places people can give without any has a station and leave a healthy life.

    there was a crime I neighbourhood that's why I am unable to have in happy in this situation but problem was solved immediately.

    In close proximity of 4 schools like Don Bosco, St Lawrence, St.Xavier, Singhania and colleges like K.M Agrawal and SH. Mutha Many restaurants available nearby like Dominos, Pizza Hut, Monginis Oasis and Rainbow Hospitals are also nearby

    Good things here

    There are good government and private hospitals nearby and many good doctors are available for treatment. There is a good school available nearby. Lift facility is available here. cctv cameras have been installed for security and security guards are also available for security. There are good schools and colleges available nearby. The facilities of taxi, cab, bus and public transportation are very good. There are good restaurants available nearby where you can get everything at reasonable rates and home delivery of food is also available. There is a park nearby where there are swings for children to play. There is a mall nearby and the local market is at a short distance.

    There is traffic noise due to being near the road. The bank's ATM machines are either not working properly or not working properly. There is no good book library nearby. All medicines are not available at nearby medical shops.

    Good things here

    There are many great schools nearby such as vibgyor international school and Hare Krishna NCT convent highschool. There are many cafes and restaurants with aesthetic feel such as bookmark cafe and many other.

    Things need improvement

    The locality is kind of well maintained there is not much pollution but there are frequent power failures. Water clogging is present in khadegoliwali area of kalyan and many potholes are present. I hope municipality looks into this soon
