Karve Nagar is a popular residential locality in the south western fringes of Pune and the Mumbai highway by pass passes right next to this locality. Karve nagar is not very far form the Pune city centre and the Pune Railway station is less than 10kms away.Karve Nagar is bounded by the Mutha River on the south side. Good things here

Karve Nagar is awesome and wonderful place to live. here you will get facilities like Uber, rapido, swiggy, Zomato with door step delivery. here there are a good attraction places like Joshi museum of miniature railways, Pune okayama friendship garden. they are a good engineering College nearby. there are good restaurant and there are budget house for the home seekers.

there are lack of open spaces and green spaces in this place. this area experience heavy traffic during peak hours and this traffic result in noise pollution and something air pollution. there are several issues in water supply and waste management system also.

there is so much crowd on the road after 7PM due to office hours. people face lot of traffic jams and rush which creates accident sometimes. the air pollution is been increasing day by day. there is poor police patrolling which should be improved by the department

Good things here

a very big market is located in our area. Roads are very well connected with the surrounding places with the best public transport facility. Many apartments are located in our surrounding areas and we can get their flats at lesser prices. Schools and hospitals are also located here.

Things need improvement

We may not like the quality of the water available here initially, but as the time passes, we get adjusted with the water and then we don’t face the problem.
