Kharghar, a well-developed premium locality in Navi Mumbai, is also one of the 14 nodes being developed by CIDCO. The well-planned locality is situated on the Mumbai-Pune Highway with several multi-rise projects and 2,3 BHK residential apartments in abundance. Kharghar belongs to NAINA (Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Area) and is modeled as a 'Smart City' project. The locality is excellently connected to Sion-Panvel Highway, Asian Highway 47, Mumbai Highway, and Panvel Road (NH48).

Good connectivity of the locality makes it easily accessible from the nearby cities of Panvel, Dombivli, and Ambernath. Connectivity to the area is also increased via Kharghar Railway Station and the NMMT Bus network. The Navi Mumbai Metro Line is now under construction. The under-construction Navi Mumbai International Airport is expected to commence operations in 2023. Kharghar also has a good retail infrastructure. Many reputed educational institutions and prominent hospitals are in the area. Kharghar has connectivity to key employment centers, industrial estates, and corporate parks.

Good things here

The area is good to reside, essential amenities such a supermarkets, places of worship, playgrounds and everyday necessities are just a short walk away. The area is also conveniently located near school, colleges and the metro station. The public transportation is ok, and easy cab, auto facilities are available. Specialist medical professional, hospitals are readily accessible nearby.

Things need improvement

Sometimes there is no electricity for the elevators and the backup is slow. Losing power or experience in shortage is incredibly inconvenient. Sometimes to Ola cab service is really bad around here they don't even respond properly. The noise and dust pollution around here is high.

Good things here

The road here has been built well and it is wide. There are many restaurants available nearby. There are government and private schools nearby which are at some distance. There are many tuition institutes where proper tuition is provided. The children playground is at some distance from the home. Many banks are located at some distance. There is no problem with electricity supply. Water supply is also good. Transportation facility is good. Cab, taxi, auto can be booked easily. There are many grocery and milk shops nearby.

Drains are not empty in many places. Polythene is thrown in many places on the road. There is traffic jam at many places on the road in the morning. There is no good cafe nearby.

Good things here

This is well connected locality . Schools , Hospital , market shopping is 20 meters . Auto and public transport is well connected . Highway is just 200 meters away .

Things need improvement

No concern as such but We have limited choice for eating joints . But in adjasant sector We have MC now available @ 800 meters . Eariller it was concern . No water logging . Public transport is well developed now . Earlier it was issue . As of now YULU bikers are not available in Sector 10 .
