Jain Temple

The oldest and most well-known Jain temple in Delhi, India, is Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir. It is located in the historical Chandni Chowk neighbourhood, across from the Red Fort. The Jain Birds Hospital, located in a separate structure behind the main temple, is a renowned avian veterinarian clinic. The Digambar Jain Temple is the oldest Jain temple in the city. It is situated directly across from the enormous Red Fort at the junction of Netaji Subhas Marg and Chandni Chowk.

Raj Ghat

The “Raj Ghat Gate” was a gate in the walled city that opened at Raj Ghat on the Yamuna. The location of this Mahatma Gandhi memorial is four kilometres from Janpath, northeast of Feroz Shah, between Ring Road and the banks of the Yamuna River, and southeast of Red Fort. Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation spot, designated by a platform constructed of black marble, attracts many tourists.

Around Raj Ghat, some other samadhis or places where notable leaders were cremated. The Shantivan, or “garden of peace,” is the name of Jawaharlal Nehru’s samadhi, located to the north of the Raj Ghat.
