Take a plastic water bottle and fill with water. Peirce the cap with a small hole through which you can insert an ear bud. Take two long sticks and attach them to the bottle. Now, rotate the bottle upside down and fix the sticks deep inside the pot. This is like drip irrigation where water will fall continuously through the bud. By this method you can take care of your plants water needs even when you are not in town.

Gardening hack #5: Vinegar as herbicide
Are you tired of removing the wild plants in your garden and pots or don’t know how to deal with the aphids growing on the plant? You can now get rid of them by spraying on them a mix of vinegar and water. The wild plants/aphids won’t tolerate the vinegar and will stop growing. This is a natural alternative to the chemical herbicide.
