As part of the construction work of Metro Line-6, known as
the Pink Line, J Kumar Infraprojects has launched three 56-m
steel composite girders, says The Metro Rail Guy portal.
Upon completion, the Pink Line that will connect Swami
Samarth Nagar, Lokhandwala to Vikhroli. The 15.18-km
Mumbai Metro route will have 13 elevated stations.

Weighing 240 MT, the girders were placed at the JVLR
junction over the Western Express Highway and Mumbai
Metro Line-7, using the J Kumar Infraprojects’ Package BC-
03. While two girders were launched on Nov 13, , 2022, the
third girder was launched on November 20, 2022. Although
Metro-7 is completed and trials are being conducted, the
Mumbai Metro Line-7 is yet to be operational.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) awarded J Kumar
Infraprojects the Package BC-03 valued at Rs 867.75 crore in
August 2018. As part of the project, J Kumar Infraprojects
will be involved in construction of 6.079-km viaduct from chainage -822.508m to 5257.400m, and five metro stations at
Swami Samarth Nagar (Lokhandwala), Adarsh Nagar,
Jogeshwari (W), JVLR and Shyam Nagar (Majas Depot).
