July 5, 2023: Actor Ajay Devgn has purchased five office units totalling to a built-up area of 13,293 sqft in Andheri (W) on the 16th and 17th floor of the Signature Building, Oshiwara on Veera Desai Road, according to a Moneycontrol report. The project is part of the Veer Savarkar Projects.
Documents accessed by data analytics firm CRE Matrix mention that Devgn invested Rs 45.09 crore in this two-part deal which was registered on April 19, 2023. The properties are registered under Vishal Virender Devgan, the actor’s official name.
With a built-up area of 8,405 sqft, the three units on the 16th floor were for Rs 30.35 crore. A stamp duty of Rs 1.82 crore was paid towards this. The two units on the 17th floor have a total built-up area of 4,893 sqft for which Rs 14.74 crore was paid. A stamp duty of Rs 88.44 lakh was paid for this deal.
According to media reports, this property was registered six days after Kajol, Ajay Devgn’s wife, bought an apartment in the Juhu Acropolis building, Vile Parle (W) for Rs 16.50 crore. Kajol bought the property from Bharat Realty Ventures. As per documents accessed by IndexTap.com, the apartment has a carpet area of 2,493 sqft and four car parkings, and was registered on April 13, 2023.
