Established in 2015, the Susrut Eye Foundation and Research Centre of Susrut Eye Hospital is an advanced tertiary eye care centre which provides medical and surgical interventions across all eye-related ailments.
It is acknowledged by the government of West Bengal as a first-of-its-kind ‘Centre of Excellence in Eye Care’ in West Bengal in collaboration with the Department of Health & Family Welfare of Government of West Bengal.
The hospital is a non-profit organisation and provides subsidised or free eye treatment to patients of all age groups. It houses skilled and efficient Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, dedicated nurses and support staff and has a state-of-the-art infrastructure and advanced diagnostics.
The centre also runs several programs for postgraduate DNB, fellowships in all ophthalmic subspecialities and international trainees, optometrists and ophthalmic assistants.
