Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Noida airport project on November 25, 2021. The project is slated to be completed by 2024-end. With two terminal buildings spread over 5 lakh square metre, the Jewar airport will be developed in four phases. Phase-1 of the airport will cater to 12 million passengers in year. This number will be increased to 70 million in Phase-4.
