It takes approximately 7 days from the day of application for you to obtain the income certificate.

 

BDO income certificate: How to apply?

  1. Access the West Bengal e-district portal at https://edistrict.wb.gov.in/PACE/login.do  
  2. Now, select “New Registration” to sign up as a citizen.   
  3. Once you register and follow through with the process, you can go back to the main e-district home page and log in using your credentials.
  4. Then select “Income certificate” from the “Certificate” menu.
  5. Scroll below and click on the “Apply” button on the screen that appears.
  6. Once the form appears, fill in all the needed details, click on the checkbox and click on the “Save and Next” button.
  7. Verify your details again and then add your supporting documents.
  8. Once you have uploaded your documents, verify your details one more time. If there are any corrections, use the edit option.
  9. Finally, submit the application.
  10. You will be shown a success message and an acknowledgement message with an Application Identification Number (AIN). Save this page for future reference and proof purposes.

 

BDO income certificate: How to track your income certificate application status?

  1. Login once again to the West Bengal e-district portal at https://edistrict.wb.gov.in/PACE/login.do.
  2. Login with your previously made credentials.
  3. Use the “Track Application” option.
  4. To view the status of your application, provide the 16-digit Application identification number (AIN).

 

BDO income certificate: How to download your income certificate?

  1. Login to the West Bengal e-district portal at https://edistrict.wb.gov.in/PACE/login.do.
  2. Select the “Approved Documents” option.
  3. You will find “Income Certificate” as an option there. Click on it.
  4. Now enter the field with your application acknowledgement AIN number.
  5. Once a new page appears, you’ll find the income certificate. Click to save on the “Download” option.

 

FAQs

How long is my income certificate valid?

Your income certificate has validity for three months, post which you can follow the same process to get another one.

What happens if the status isn’t updated on the portal?

You can approach the BDO office for an update with your application acknowledgement print out.

Does BDO issue Income Certificates for both Urban and Rural areas in West Bengal?

No. BDO issues income certificates only to civilians coming from Rural areas. For urban areas, SDO provides the same.
