Sundarban National Park

West Bengal, India Sundarbans National Park is a beautiful place to go. It is best known for its Bengal tigers and has crocodiles, deer, wild boars, and numerous birds. A great place to go sightseeing by boat is around the rivers and other waterways in the park. 

The trees are unique because they can live in salty water. The landscape changes with the tides, making it super pretty. But if you want to visit, you have to go during the good winter weather, from November to February on a boat tour. Central Park

Central Park, also known as Banabitan, is a popular urban park in Salt Lake, Kolkata. It’s the third largest open space in the area, conveniently accessible from the Karunamoyee Bus Terminus. The Park has a large lake with a bridge to an island with a pagoda. This lake is home to water birds, and there is a particular area for boating.

By Gate No.1 is a beautiful rose garden enclosed by hedges. It’s a pretty sight when the roses start to bloom. A butterfly garden with various kinds of butterflies is another part of the park. After entering Gate No.1, you turn right from the main walking track to find it. Nature Mates – Nature Club, with the help of the West Bengal Forest Department, cares for the butterfly garden.

Government buildings are lined up all around Central Park and offer a peaceful escape with its natural beauty. Good for a walk, bird watching, and taking in the color of roses and butterflies. Central Park is like a peaceful getaway in the middle of Kolkata, whether for locals or visitors.

Rabindra Sarobar

Rabindra Sarobar, once known as Dhakuria Lake, is a special place in South Kolkata, West Bengal. It’s not only the lake, it’s like a big park with many trees and spaces. It is located between Southern Avenue, Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Road, Dhakuria, and the railway tracks. It’s called this in honor of the famous poet Rabindranath Tagore. People come here to picnic, and children play in the playgrounds. In addition, boat rides can be had on the lake, or one may stroll along the paths. Many birds visit here and bird watchers like it.
