BSPHCL: How to apply for a new connection online?

1. Click on the ‘New Connection’ tab from the left corner of the home page. Now, you will be able to see a drop-down menu with two options: ‘New Connection Guidelines’ and ‘New Service Connection’.
2. Click on the ‘New Service Connection’ option to apply for a new connection online. You will be directed to a new page where you have to enter your mobile number district and then click on ‘Generate OTP’. An OTP will be sent to your phone number.
3. You will be redirected to a page with a form for ‘New Connection’. Fill all the details in the form properly. You should also indicate whether you want to opt for a Low Tension or High Tension supply.
4. Fill in the required details in the ‘Address Details’ section, like House No, City, District, etc.
5. Under the ‘Applicant Details’, enter Gender, Name, and Husband/Father name.
6. Now, upload the applicable ID and Address proof.
7. Upload the subscriber’s photo with a home ownership document and submit it. Now, a request number will be generated, and it is suggested to save that number so that you can track your application status later.

 

BSPHCL: What are the steps to check bills online? 

1. Click on the ‘Instant Payment’ tab, and you will be able to see a drop-down list with many options.
2. Click on the ‘View & Pay Bill’ option.
3. Now, enter the CA number that is printed on your electricity bills.
4. You will now be able to see the total amount displayed on the screen.

BSPHCL offers various channels to register complaints. You can dial 1912 to talk to the customer care. However, you can also lodge a complaint on the website. Here are the steps to register a complaint online:

1. Click on ‘Online Complaint’.
2. Click on ‘Complaint Registration’ from the drop-down list. And then, you will be redirected to the ‘Online Complaint Registration System’.
3. Fill in your complaint details with other necessary information. Thereafter, click on the ‘Submit’ button. An acknowledgement number will be generated, which you should save for record-keeping purposes.
