Here are all the details you need to know about applying for the Central Sector Scholarship

The DOHE has announced notifications for the Central Sector Scholarship 2023 or National Merit Scholarship 2023 for college and university students. Entries for the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of 2022–23 are being accepted by the Department of Higher Education, which is part of the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Indian government.

The preferred participants receive a scholarship payment of up to Rs 20,000 per year to assist them in paying their household expenses while pursuing their academic goals. The aim of this scholarship is to give deserving students from low-income households the financial aid they deserve so that they can cover some of their daily needs while obtaining higher education.

The senior secondary examination results are used to determine who gets a scholarship. For students engaged in graduate and postgraduate curricula at colleges, institutions and professional fields like architecture and medicine, a total of 82000 new fellowships are awarded yearly, including 41000 for boys and 41000 for girls.
