To make applying for the MHADA Mumbai lottery 2023 easier, MHADA has incorporated certain important changes to the new computerized system -Integrated Housing Lottery Management system (IHLMS 2.0). MHADA Mumbai lottery has already got more than 20,000 applications. Owing to the demand, the last date to submit an application for MHADA lottery 2023 by Konkan board has been extended till April 19, 2023. MHADA lottery 2023 lucky draw will be held on May 10, 2023.
PMAY registration certificate not mandatory during lottery application
Under the new change, applicants who are applying for MHADA lottery under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) scheme need not have the PMAY registration certificate at the time of applying. It is only important that they have the certificate before taking possession of the MHADA flat.
Corrections possible in case of incorrect income tax return information
It is mandatory to upload an income tax return certificate on the MHADA lottery website. Previously, system checks on the certificate would be done by optical character recognition. Owing to unclear uploading of data, verification was difficult. Now, on uploading the income tax certificate, a pop up box will show the applicant name, total income and assessment year. If it is true, you have to give consent and submit. If the information is wrong, the applicant can change the information and submit.
Registration for female applicants made easy
Female applicants found it difficult to register in the new system owing to change or name or surname after marriage or any other reason. Now there is a new option on the application registration page where it’s asked if the applicant is identified by another name. If yes, then the applicant needs to mention the other name as well.
